This level is for any organization that has no formal designee in charge of either security or safety, but wants to have immediate access to a Strategic Security Specialist who can respond to their issues in order to mitigate the potential for violence in their environment. Regulatory agencies, courts, lawmakers – all are coming up with rules, laws and regulations making employers liable for not providing for a safe work environment and in today’s world, that includes the potential for violence from either within or from without of the organization. No one wants to see their business fined, get sued or even have to ever worry about addressing a violent act – but unfortunately it happens and the results can be devastating.
The Workthreat Group knows that individually it becomes too costly and time consuming for the small or medium size business to try and put something together that will satisfy all – and be something practical that will be continually monitored as well as updated. So we have formed a co-op if you will, a Super-Group of businesses, educational and medical organizations that all have the same need but do not have the finances to do it individually.
The total cost for this membership is a one-time fee of $1500 and then a monthly fee of $29. That entitles the member to:
A confidential site survey done by one of our Strategic Security Specialists in your area to confirm what you need to be concerned about, what you can do to mitigate potential volatile acts, and what you need to do to lessen your liability should something happen. This is a necessary regulatory agency requirement to meet the burden of due diligence to substantiate why you have your specific workplace violence prevention program in place, including its policies and procedures.
Workplace Violence Prevention Program policy and procedures designed for your specific organization. Many regulatory agencies indicate this is a “must need” but what many don’t understand is that it must also be specific to your needs. What works at a Secondary Educational location may look ridiculous at a Medical facility. And what works for a Manufacturing Plant could never be put to use at a Retail Establishment. Once in place, as long as you are a member or this group, all appropriate updates and modifications will be handled at no additional fee by The Workthreat Group.
A 30-minute, online training course for the first 5 employees. It includes all the necessary data and information required by regulatory agencies to meet the standard of expectation of appropriate training for all employees, and it includes a test at the end to confirm they understand the training. It will be available to them 24/7, it will instruct them on their basic responsibilities and actions, and it will mitigate your liabilities.
Access to one of our Strategic Security Specialist within 24 hours. Consider this to be like having your own security/safety person available to you for advice or recommendations. Barring vacations or training, the person you will talk to will be the specific person assigned to your account so that he or she will be up on all the necessary information about your organization to make an intelligent decision. This includes one free 5-10 minute phone call a month to ask your specialist any security question you have, which may include a potential workplace violence situation.
If it requires immediate attention, the specialist will tell you your options, explain potential outcomes and give you specific recommendations. If serious, they may say call local law enforcement. If it can be handled through other resources, those recommendations will be explained to you. You can then make an intelligent decision based on your needs and financial ability to take whatever steps you feel are necessary. They are not there to sell you more services of The Workthreat Group – the recommendations will be universal and based on national standards.
You will also receive the same services as the Silver Community members:
Access to our Community Group Forum where the specific issues involving how to design and implement a program will be the primary discussions as well as how to initially identify and handle a potentially volatile subject. All individuals who will be addressing these issues will either be in a similar situation as you with their organization, or will be a threat assessment expert from the Workthreat Group to guide you and answer your specific questions. Only those who are members may enter this blog – or you can inform us of a guest who will be allowed temporary access.
Access to our quarterly webinar put on by The Workthreat Group that will address the most current concern or issues within the area of workplace violence prevention programs today. This webinar will usually last from 20-30 minutes, but will then be open for your questions for an additional 30 minutes. While it is expected that the questions will be on topic, if there are none, questions outside the topic of other concerns will be taken and discussed. Only those who are members may attend this webinar – or you can inform us of a guest who will be allowed temporary access.
You will automatically receive a quarterly white paper, discussing important issues and topics of the day related to workplace violence prevention programs. Whenever possible, it will provide the latest research on the topic, and it will always explain the latest techniques to address, mitigate and/or resolve the issues.
